Let's dance with irregular rhythms
That's my last radio show broadcast on the air, sounding as if it were live. I dare not continue in this vein any longer, since there's no way I'll be able to keep it up. Since I doubt I'll be doing a show this summer (longer, and I ain't want to do that, plus I needs must stave off the demon burnout—see previous), my ability to impose my taste in music on other people will be severely constrained for the foreseeable future (unless I decide I want to sell my soul, and three hours of sleep (between three and six am!) once a week to KZSU). So, ostensibly for that reason, but really because I'm horribly vain, I post the final show's playlist below. There was sort of a theme—it was supposed to be a kind of survey of brutal prog, but I don't have enough of that to make two hours, at least not without repeating artists or resorting to tricks like playing Orthrelm's new 47-minute-long album (which, based on this review, seems kind of like a metal version of the Necks). So instead it was just a bunch of current rhythmically confusing rawkin' stuff, plus some older things in the same vein.
And something by the Cardiacs.
