A dilemma faces me: do I buy pre-cleaned squid parts from Whole Foods for $6 a pound, or uncleaned whole squid from the Japanese supermarket for $2 a pound? I would, of course, have to clean the latter myself; fortunately, I know a song about doing that.

How much do you need? I'm leaning toward the pre-cleaned ones, too, but I'm guessing you've already made the decision by now.
