Following links discovers to me that, when it comes to music and philosophy, "ontological concerns have been particularly pressing in recent times", as people wonder what sort of entity a work of music is. Perhaps this marks me as a philistine and rube, but I can't help but wonder what makes this pressing. (I can easily believe that in recent times such questions have become popular.) Do the people who find them pressing also worry about movies, plays, recipes, Fluxoid performance art instruction-pieces, &c?
